A wonderful assignment and so important for anyone designing for today. I remember ages ago, when I was just beginning in art school, coming in with such bravado. A teacher asked us, Who creates art? Almost everyone said the artist, and for someone to point out the truism of art being a product / signal/ bellwether of the times it was created in, was nothing less than a watershed. Keep up the great work. I enjoy reading your blog. I know several students at Fullerton College would love to see you teach in their fashion department. Excellent.
